Return of Peck's bad boy, 1920-1952.

"A condensed revision of the famed fun classic" as serialized in the Waynesboro News-Virginian includes a letter from the author explaining a World War I incident in the trenches that led him to write the revision. The volume also contains an article "The student and creative career (of a battle-disabled soldier of World War One)," an autobiographical essay by Austin; a photostat of a letter to him from a former army comrade; and a nomination letter for a Freedom's Foundation Award.
